Birth Photography is one of the main reasons I became a professional photographer; to - as renowned birth photographer and midwife Harriette Hartigan so succinctly sums it up - "make birth visible." Admittedly, this way of re-remembering one's birth experience and those first moments with one's newborn is not a photographic form that resonates for every woman and expectant couple. But if you are one who feels that this photographic journey can help preserve memories that sometimes need to be seen, visualized, displayed and returned to, then I humbly offer my services and photographic skills to you and your birthing experience.

I am currently in the unusual position of being able to offer this service completely at cost. I'm in the process of building my birth image portfolio and have made the artistic decision to spend the remainder of 2001 and the entirety of 2002 creating images that women and their families will be proud to display and cherish without profit to myself financially. If you are interested in having your birth photographed, please call me as soon as possible. Because of my commitments to family, community and Angel Photography, I am currently only able to agree to two due dates a month.
